Cool Anthropology

The Road of Development was conceived by Cool Anthropology founders, Victoria Costa and Kristina Baines, to highlight how individuals and communities around the world negotiate their lives engaged in different stages of the development process. Our conversations often turned to development as a linear and inevitable force but, rather than simply offer a critique, our response was to bring together ideas and stories to consider the process from multiple perspectives. These perspectives are not exhaustive and we welcome contributions highlighting new thoughts and actions.
